Analyze the legislative process by researching recent (2000-2012) legislation dealing with a major policy issue Once you have chosen a major piece of legislation, you will need to research the bill to find examples of how it was influenced by party leadership, the president, interest groups, media, bureaucracy, and constituents. You will then need to form a conclusion that analyzes the impact of the various forces that influenced the legislation and explain the significance of the impact.
