  • Analysis of the economic, political, and socio-cultural environments of each nation and the forces for change within it.
  • Identify the technological, environmental, and legal developments of the business environment and show how they influence Global Business operations.
  • Identify business opportunities, risks, and challenges for each nation. The focus is to be on the fashion industry as it relates to trends, competitive brands or retailers, product differentiation, merchandise mix, and price points.
  • Make a final recommendation with your rationale to enter your selected country.

Required key points to be included in the analysis:

You are presenting an argument by recommending one nation over another. The structure of your argument, meaning substantiated research to support your recommendation is the focus. The following also needs to be included in your PESTEL in addition to the basic factors:

Important: Non-Compliance of the following will result in a lower grade.

  • If you selected topic one; you should also include information as to what apparel products are currently being made in that nation. What are the tariff implications for your goods? Transportation advantages or disadvantages?  Supply chain considerations?
  • If you selected topic two; you should provide the fashion trends of the nation. Who is the competition? Target market considerations? First-mover advantages? Demographic analysis?
