1. The employment interview is often the least valid predictor of future performance success. Yet, most hiring managers tend to place more emphasis on the candidate interview for making employment decisions than any other selection tool. In your own words, what steps should be take to improve the results of the employment interview. As an HR professional, how would you ensure that managers adopt an interview strategy that more accurately results in the selection of employees likely to be successful in their organizational roles.

2. In order to further improve the hiring process, describe several different approaches to assessment and testing during the selection process. What advantages and disadvantages do you see with each method? How would you combine multiple tools during the selection process?
