This week you learned about programmed decisions - those decisions managers make often - and non-programmed decisions - those decisions that need to be made because something new happened. In your readings you learned about a six-step process for making non-programmed decisions. In the first part of your discussion post, tell us if you think that managers always follow this process when making decisions. Active listening is a communication technique which requires the listener to feed back what they hear to the speaker, by way of re-stating or paraphrasing what they have heard in their own words, to confirm what they have heard and to confirm the understanding of both parties.
