Have you ever had a boss that squelched all of your creative ideas? What about that meeting that took place when you thought you’d be receiving some direction and advice and it went in a completely different direction? Not being supported when you take the lead on a project or volunteer to take on responsibility? These are just a few examples in which you might encounter a toxic boss.
Your position as HRM for a large Healthcare System includes training and helping other managers/leaders to understand different leadership styles and the need for cultivation, succession planning strategies, etc. Recently through conducting exit interviews, you learned employees are leaving due to their manager’s leadership style.
