My journey into molecular biology research started outside the traditional classroom when I joined the Neuroethics Research Group at the University of Washington. This almost three-year experience has been transformative, heightening my awareness of the ethical issues physicians face and revealing a dimension of medicine where ethics are as crucial as science. Being part of this group clarified the kind of research I want to pursue, integrating ethics into my scientific endeavors. Motivated by this perspective, I have developed a deep appreciation for molecular biology and the ethical frameworks guiding it and have explored the field through scientific journals, articles, and books, laying the groundwork for my future research interests.
