• Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and prevailing wage laws
• Equal Pay Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
• Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax code
• Legally mandated (local), living wage ordinance(s)
• Worker Economic Opportunity Act (WEOA), and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)

Describe how one or more of the provisions of the given legislation might challenge the alignment of the compensation system.
