Are students' mothers younger than their fathers in general, and if so, by how much?

a. Use software to test if the mean of differences, mother's age minus father's age, is negative for the larger population of students; first report the mean of sampled differences.

b. Report the standardized sample mean.

d. Do the data support the claim that overall mothers are younger?

e. Use software to obtain a 95% confidence interval for the mean of differences, mother's age minus father's age.
