The Scenario: You are working as a Project Analyst on a large Information Technology implementation project. Your job is by no means a senior position, but you play a critical role in the implementation project and are well respected by your peers. One of the Project Managers, Julie Fragrance, often uses abusive language on conference calls and around the office that is riddled with belittling, aggressive comments, and also very explicit. This individual has been with the company for close to ten years, while you have only worked there for 1.5 years. Julie is very well respected by mid-level executives and you see them frequently going to lunch together. In essence, it appears that Julie has a lot of political power within the organization, even though she is not necessarily in a management position. You have bitten your tongue for quite a while, but the tension and aggressive behavior that Julie brings to the work environment has run its toll. You love your job, but dislike the work environment that Julie often creates. What Would You Do? How would you approach this scenario?
