S: Patient is a 17-year-old male who was playing basketball today when he landed on his outstretched right hand. He now has pain in the navicular and right wrist region. He has limited range of motion due to pain. He has good pulses throughout. There is normal sensation. X-rays of the right wrist show no evidence of fracture. A: Sprain, right wrist. P: ice, elevation and he is to wear a splint and use the wrist as tolerated. He will return if not improved in 2-3 days. Diagnosis: Sprained R wrist.
