Question

The influence of SDOH in the disease progression is the lack of education and safety environment in the community. It is important to educate individuals about safe sex practice. The importance to use protection when engaging in sex. This way the disease would be less likely to spread. Safety in the communities is important. HIV stigma is a crucial factor in our society. This is also why people should be educated on the topic. Another way HIV is spread is through direct contact with infected blood. For example, using the same needle when doing a tattoo, also sharing needles in any situation. More factors that can influence are unemployment and poverty (Kouzouian, 2021). People living in these conditions are not able to get proper healthcare when they need it. Also, they are less likely to get educated.
