You have recently joined a multinational organization as a Senior Manager Performance. The management of the firm believes that the combined sum of energies of two or more individuals is always greater than that of simple sum of energies of these individuals. This combined sum of energy which is greater than their normal sum is known as synergy. It is because of this particular reason that the management wants to promote a collaborative culture. However, the attitude and behavior of the people in the firm suggests otherwise. For instance, employees never appreciate each other, always try to focus on individual tasks rather than team work, hide information, never trust each other and don't show willingness to initiate things out of the box. Under these circumstances, the top management in the firm has entrusted you with the task to bring the change in attitudes and behaviors of employees so that openness in culture can be promoted for ensuring a collaborative culture in the firm which will eventually boost organizational success.
