Assignment:
To illustrate the connections and relationships between key concepts related to corporate culture.
Description:
A mind map is a visual way of organizing and presenting content that can enrich your understanding. They are visual diagrams that outline the relationship between ideas and concepts. They include (1) a central topic, question, or image; (2) topics or concepts that branch out; and (3) linking lines and/or words to connect concepts.
Most mind maps organize concepts in hierarchical order, with the most general or over-reaching concepts near the top with more specific concepts branching out.
Instructions:
1. Start with watching the following 2 videos to gain an understanding of how to build concept/mind maps.

2. Construct a map that organizes the course content within a way that makes sense to you. Centre your map around the focus question of "What trends currently impact the workplace?"
3. Use the learning materials from weeks 1-5 to identify the major ideas related to corporate culture; then branch out from them connecting information/ideas gained from the readings, videos, and discussion boards. (HINT: Each Week's learning material is built around a major idea/topic. Within each week's learning materials are the related sub-topics, which could be considered your 2nd level "branches" of your mind maps' hierarchy. For your 3rd level, include any additional or relevant key ideas about each of the sub-topics that you gained from your readings and/or discussion boards.)
4. Incorporate the use of colour, graphics, images, etc. to make your mind map visually appealing.
5. Review your map to see if there are any additional connections between the elements in your map. Illustrate these connections by drawing a line between them. If you can, add a word to describe the connection.
