Katie has always been very busy with extracurriculars and school. She recently tore her Achilles' tendon, had surgery and now is not able to go very far. She knows people are being kind, but she is frustrated that she cannot get back to what she is used to doing. She is attempting to start her ballet exercises in secret and plans to go on a trip in the next month, saying that she will figure it out as she goes. She wants to know if you think this is a good idea. How would you respond with an active listening response?
