This activity is important because stressors affect job performance and organizational commitment. Managers should know the types of employee stressors in order to eliminate or lessen them. Manager one-on-one relationships with employees are essential because each person may perceive stressors differently in the same workplace. The presence of several generations in the same workplace offers unique challenges in these relationships.
