Outline: Each group will choose 1 product to sell and will be allocated 15 minutes to make their sales presentation to the class (with an additional 5 minutes following the presentation to respond to questions). The group should think of the class as the board of directors for the company that manufactures the product. The job of the group is to convince the board to approve the sales plan. The presentation should include the following:
What - A description of the product (pick an existing product)
Who - Who is the target market for the product and why.
Where- Where do you recommend the product be sold?
How - How will the product be sold?
Advertising - How will you advertise the product?
Why - Why are you recommending this sales plan?
Budget - How much will it cost to implement the sales plan?
Additional Material - Other material you feel would help to convince the board
Note: Use the materials we have reviewed in class to help you design your sales plan and make sure you address all learning styles with your presentation.
Format: Your presentation may take any form you wish however please remember that you are presenting to a board of directors and that each member of your team must a portion of the presentation. In addition you are required to executive summary to be given to the instructor at the beginning of the presentation.
