Scenario: You are a paralegal who has been working for a solo practitioner, Yara Moreno, in a modest urban community of about 100,000 people. The office is located just outside of the downtown area. The office engages in civil litigation and family law work, primarily. Ms. Moreno worked for a small law office right out of law school and then opened her own practice. You have been working with her since the office opened 7 years ago. You both feel it is time to bring on another paralegal.

Part 1: You will draft a job description for the new paralegal position. Make sure you include essential qualifications for the job, required skills, and proposed salary range.

Part 2: You will draft a set of interview questions for those candidates selected for an interview. You must include six questions that you definitely want to ask; you should also identify four you cannot ask - and explain why in a couple of paragraphs following your two sets of questions.
