One of the most important responsibilities of the HR Department is to evaluate and understand the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete each job in the organization. For this assignment, you will conduct a job analysis interview with a friend, co-worker or relative. During the interview, you will use the attached document to complete a job analysis.
As Human Resource Professionals, it is imperative that you identify the most crucial priorities in a position. Thus, once you are completed with the interview, please write a brief conclusion of your findings. Be sure to address the most critical priorities in the context of the position as well as identify any areas that you feel may be filled by other individuals. The idea behind the job analysis is to ensure we understand what items are included in the job and to ensure their critical function is within the scope of what is currently be completed.
