William's will was made shortly after he came out of hospital following a contusion on the brain, caused by him being hit by a car.

Sadly, William Mason died when his friend Andy pushed him down a flight of stairs in a rage. This was after it was uncovered that William was having an affair with Andy's wife, Becca. Andy was convicted of manslaughter in relation to the killing.
