Jabberwocky is a nonsense poem by Lewis Carroll. Read the poem first to get an idea of the story. Then locate the familiar words and label the parts of speech. Next look at the nonsense words and label those parts of speech. Example: He took his vorpal sword in hand. We know that a sword is a noun. So, vorpal must be an adjective because it modifies or describes the word sword.
