Question: Formulate a research question for a health* problem. For example, public health students might consider issues related to aging population or mental health issues in Australia or the Northern Territory. Honours students can use their thesis topic.
Those studying Medical Laboratory Science, Nutrition, OT, Speech, Public Policy or Disaster management should check with the lecturer if they need guidance or are struggling to find a topic for this assessment.
Include a literature review, frame the problem, develop a problem statement and research questicq..s. Be explicit about your philosophical and theoretical approach. Do not proceed to reyearch methods.
*If you are intending to do a research project as a part of your award and have identified a suitable topic: then you can use this assignment to develop a research question on that topic. Or if you would like to choose a topic from a discipline not listed above, you may do so. In either case you must discuss your topic with the lecturer first.
