GreenApple Company was established in 2011. It produces a range of soft drinks and fruit juices. Since 2011 company has been able to achieve a very high growth due to the unique taste it offers to the customers. Therefore, within a very short period GreenApple could expand its operations throughout the country and overseas.

The operations function of GreenApple is overlooked by a manufacturing manager, who has 15 years of industry experience. In addition, he is a chartered marketer, who has 3 years of experience as a market analyst.

Due to the unpredictable weather condition, company was not been able to fulfill the entire market demand during the previous five to six months. Moreover, it is assumed that the unpredictable weather condition will remain unchanged for the rest of the year 2016.

In order to address the issue of inaccurate demand forecasting GreenApple has recently recruited a manager with vast experience in business forecasting.

Besides, company has decided to change their forecasting technique to get a more accurate estimate.
