1) In order to separate the RNA you majorly utilize a protein denaturant solution of the guanidinum salts. These chaotropic solutions denature by disrupting the H- bonding. The solutions also consists of a reducing agent i order to denature disulfide bonds. The final composition of the solution is : 4 guanidine isthiocyanate (GITC), 25mM sodium citrate, pH 7.0 , 0.5%(w/v)SDS, 100mM β-mercaptoethanol. You have the guanidine isothiocyanate powder(mol.Wt.118.16),1 M Na Citrate, pH 7.0, powder SDS and b-mercaptoethanol(density 1.12 g/m L, mol. Wt.78.1). State how would you make up the 100 mL of this solution?
