Prepare an essay, and the is "Is Whitman's preface to Leaves of Grass the work of Emerson's "Poet?". Basically, State Emerson's qualifications for the Poet and use these to decide if Whitman is the poet or not. I just need the major 'qualifications' for the Poet, and about ten of them. However, I'm having trouble understanding what the all of the qualifications for the Poet are. I know they're basically scattered throughout the essay, but most of these 'qualifications' aren't very clear to me. The complex language Emerson uses.
