Stephen wanted to know whether the average fleet age of aircraft was correlated to direct air airframe maintenance costs and whether there was a relationship between direct engine maintenance cost between Northern and Southeast Airlines.

The coefficient of determination for Northern Airframe cost per average age {Hours} was 0.769405 with a correlation of 0.877158. For Northern Engine per aircraft with the average age (hours) the coefficient for determination was 0.612588 and the correlation was .078268.

For Southeast airframe maintenance cost per average age {hours} the coefficient of determination was 0.39046 and correlation was 0.624868. Southeast engine maintenance cost per average age {hours} the coefficient of determination was 0.459921 and the correlation was 0.678175.
