Problem 1: O.O.C Contracting was repairing a house damaged by fire. In the course of O.O.C working to repair the home, the homeowner requested some repairs that were not called for in the original contract. After all repairs to the home were completed, the owner refused to pay for the extra work O.O.C. completed. Is O.O. C. entitled to be paid for the additional repairs? Why or why not?

Problem 2: Ida, an employee of Target, had an idea for a safety devise for handicapped patrons and patrons who are caretakers for handicapped persons. Ida, during her leisure time, made a model of her idea and showed it to management at Target. Later, Target, used the safety device, and as a result of the public response, enjoyed increased sales. Target refused to pay Ida claiming it had no contract with Ida. Target also proved that Ida was not employed by Target to do any design concept work. Ida claimed that Target benefited unjustly by her idea. Can Ida recover? If so, under what theory.
