Is it possible to unite Latin Americans in this nation (America Proper)?

If so, what will it take?
If not, then why not?

Can the situation of the Latin American people in this country progress in the direction of access and opportunity even though, at this point, it has not?

Be critical and look at the entire spectrum of the issue. The idea of "something is better than nothing" or "at least we have that" does not mean anything when only scraps or a select few are given "token" status, yet the group as a whole is still struggling and in a state of despair.

What can be done to help heal, progress, and evolve the Latin American community in this country?

Remember, they have varied situations, such as all Puerto Ricans have citizenship.
Mexican/Mexican American/American Mexicans have been targeted federally for deportation.
Refugee Cubans had varied experiences dependent on economic status.
Central Americans are still seen as outcasts from most Latin groups.
South Americans tend not to be welcomed by many.
Yet if you have that particular look or body, you are welcomed with open arms and access.
