Question: Should a company be allowed to install the Eyespy software to monitor performance? If not, what other suggestions would you have about why there are variations on a freelancers time-sheet?

Is it legal for a company to monitor the performance of the employees without telling them? Why or Why not?

Eyespy is software that takes a picture of freelancers computer screens and records keystrokes and mouse clicks periodically throughout the day. This can be used to drill down the individual weekly time sheet to confirm it is accurate.
