One common understanding of fascism is that the historical context from which it emerged (i.e. post-WWI Europe) was unique, and that fascist movements are unlikely to achieve such dominance. Is fascism effectively a dead ideology? Do the underlying ideas of nationalism or anti-rationalism seem to have any appeal within contemporary society? In writing your essay, provide contemporary examples to support your arguments.
Write a 500-800 word essay which addresses the topics/questions above, and submit it via the dropbox folder on this page. Please be sure that your file is one of the following formats: doc, docx, pdf, rtf
Style: Your written assignments should be generally readable and free from common writing problems, such as run-on sentences or paragraphs and improper citations. Additionally, an excellent paper will be generally well structured with all arguments presented in a logical and flowing order.
Spelling and grammar: While I do not specifically grade on spelling and grammar, I expect written assignments to be generally free from spelling and grammatical errors. Written assignments with problems of unreadability due to excessive errors of spelling and grammar will receive lower scores.
