Question: As we explore the chemical underpinnings of life, I want you to discuss a much broader issue, the question is, if we humans are still evolving, and if we even should think about influencing or enhancing our own evolution. The former is a biological question, the latter an ethical one. Watch the attached TED video and post your opinion and questions you might have as a result. Focus not on the ethical, but biological questions behind human evolution. Are humans still evolving? Is enhanced or artificial evolution even possible?
