Assignment - How are applications customised?
Scenario: You have recently started work as a junior IT Application Developer in a medium sized company. The company has alarge number of office based staff who make use of a wide range of computer software including office, Internet and email applications. You supervisor has asked you to investigate whether the company might be able to make better use of customised and integrated applications.
Task 1 The first step in the investigation is to write a report in which you evaluate how and why customised and integrated applicationscould meet the company needs.
You need to cover:
• Types of application software that can be customised and integrated
• Purposes of customising and integrating applications
• Issues with customising and integrating applications
• Programming languages used to customise and integrate applications
• How different application software can be customised and integrated
