A threat assessment is a careful study of potential terrorist targets, similar to a hazard and vulnerability analysis conducted by emergency management professionals. 'Critical Infrastructure, composed of industrial, utility, transportation and other 'distribution' systems, are key targets for terrorist attack. The destruction of any of critical infrastructure system could have a debilitating impact on U.S. economic security. As an emergency management professional, what (local) critical infrastructure would you request to conduct a hazard and vulnerability (threat) assessment?
