Assignment - Individual Report -
Your final assessment has a maximum 2000 word limit and should be structured in the following manner - Introduction and brief overview of organisations, Comparisons and analysis, Learnings, Recommendations, Conclusions, References, and Appendices (if any are needed). Appendices and references do not count toward the word limit.
You are to choose one organisation widely considered to be intrapreneurial (and justify why you have chosen it) from listed companies or large government owned entities in the US, Singapore, the UK or the EU (and that you have not chosen previously for A1).
Your task is then to compare this organisation with the firm that your group reported on in A2, and prepare an analysis around differences in leadership, organisational culture, obstacles that may have been overcome (and how), approach to innovation, approach to ethics & CSR, etc.
You should ensure that your report also covers:
Anything to be learnt from this comparison, and recommendations for adoption by either or both organisations, including whether the venture proposed in your group assignment (A2) would still hold up or could be refined in some way.
Conclusions as to which modes of venturing are being used to advantage and why, what roles leadership and culture may have to play, whether position on the EI quadrant is important etc.
The analysis and conclusions sections are the most important parts of this assignment, you will not receive a passing grade for work which describes but does not analyse. You need to draw some conclusions based on the work done in class and on your reading.
