PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Right ureteral stone POSTOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS: Right ureteral stone PROCEDURE: Right extraction of JJ ureteral stent and right ureteroscopy PROCEDURE: The patient was brought to the operating room and placed on the operating room table. General anesthetic was introduced and secured. The patient was placed in the dorsal lithotomy position. The lower abdomen and genitalia were prepped and draped in the usual sterile technique. A 10-French cystoscope was introduced into the urethra and advanced into the bladder. The right ureteral stent was identified and was removed using grasping forceps. The stent was examined and found to be intact. Next, 6-French ureteroscope was introduced into the bladder and advanced into the right ureter. I was able to introduce the ureteroscope all the way to the level of UPJ. There were no residual stones. The ureteroscope was removed. The bladder was emptied. The cystoscope was removed. The patient tolerated the procedure well.
