BAMG1207 Principles of Management - Higher College of Technology

I. Introduction:

* If you would choose a particular company:

- Brief discussion about the of the company, history, profile, and short background
- Mention any of the Business Goal or Objectives, or Mission , or Vision
- Description of Product or Service they are providing to customers
- Location

• If you would choose particular topic in Management:

- Discussion about the topic chosen, what it is all about? ( Can be about Management functions, Managers Decision Making , Skills required for a Manager, Leadership Styles preferred by Employees, etc.)
- Definitions of important terms, Identification of problems of the selected company.

II. Findings :
* If you would choose a particular company: Interview to the Manager (can be their relative or family)
- This should present the detailed report of the interview done by the student. The main findings should be presented here.
*If you would choose particular topic:
- Present the data gathered : discussion of the full details of the topic identified, answers and solutions to the problems ( from secondary data or primary data).
III. Recommendation and Conclusion
- Make a conclusion based on the output of your interview or data gathered from secondary data.
- Make recommendations on how can manager can effectively can find solutions to the problems identified in each function.

Mechanics:
1. Discussion of the assignment to the class by the lecturer.
2. Let each student select any topic related to management.
5. Allow the students to prepare their own interview guide or questions assigned to them, if it is a particular company they wanted to present.
6. Let the student select any manager of company whom they know or who are near their place the interview can be done by phone calls or mails (optional if they want to present using primary data).
