Organizational change can be defined as an attempt to modify the interpersonal and organizational structure and processes. Changes almost always focus on jobs, people, work groups, and the organization as a whole. In general, the changes seek to increase interpersonal and work effectiveness. The change process consists of several stages: recognizing the problem, properly diagnosing its cause, applying a certain strategy and evaluating the change. Organization development (OD) is a broad set of concepts, tools and techniques designed to implement long-term changes in organizations. Cengage)Think about an organizational change that you or someone in your family has personally experienced. Explain what the change consisted of. Was there resistance to change? Provide details.
