Question

Joseph is a 62-year-old man who returns to the office today complaining of intermittent dizziness and an "odd feeling" in his chest once in a while that makes him feel like he has to "catch his breath" because he feels like his heart races and then seems "to forget to beat for a second." After a detailed history and exam, an EKG and electrolyte panel are performed and, he is diagnosed with an arrhythmia and hyperkalemia. Echocardiogram and stress test are ordered at the cardiac department.
