First, choose a worldview that differs from your own. Some options are atheism, spirituality, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, or Confucianism.
Next, do some external research on the worldview you've chosen. You might search for YouTube videos that show a religious service inside a Catholic church, Islamic mosque, or Buddhist temple, for example. Or you may read about the history and practices of the worldview.
Then, response to the questions that addresses the following:
1. Why did you choose this worldview?
2. What are the origins of this worldview?
3. Does the worldview have sacred texts and/or deities? If so, what are they, and what did you learn about these sacred texts or deities in your research?
4. What are some of this worldview's core assumptions (basic foundation of beliefs, values, or expression)?
5. Any concluding thoughts you have about tolerance, learning about other worldviews, or intercultural communication competence.
