Question 1. Degree to which a couple feels "in love". In the textbook, loving someone is defined as "a vastly deeper and more intense emotional experience and consists of intimacy, caring, and attachment. The ideal combination for long-term success in romantic relationships occurs when partners both love each other." Why would anyone care about anything in a relationship if they don't love the person that they are in one with?
Question 2. Equity. In a relationship with equity, there is an equal amount of give and take in the relationship from both parties. Equity makes each person in the relationship feel like if they get more than they give, they feel guilty about it. If they give more than they get, they may feel used. Equity is fair and impartial balance. When you feel like you are not getting out of something what you are putting into it, you begin to question why you are doing it in the first place. This can lead to resentment towards a partner.
Question 3. Network Support. Network support is a bedrock that bolsters up your daily wellbeing. It depends on good communication with others, and on sensitivity to their needs. Turning your attention form yourself towards others is easier than you think and it provides you with a lot of joy and satisfaction. Whether you are in a stable relationship or live on your own, you need a support network. Lack of support impacts your mood, health and the strength of your development.
Question 4. Similarity. Although I think that being similar to your partner is important, I don't believe that it is a be-all or end-all for a relationship. I think being too similar to your partner might make the relationship boring.
