Integrating technology and digital media in the classroom

I recently rented the 4th edition of "Integrating Technology and Digital Media in the Classroom" published by Thomson Course Technology for a web-based course that I am auditing. Now I find that I need an "access code" to access some of the on-line course material , tests etc. As I am only auditing the course, I would like to avoid spending much money for this code. Can you suggest where I can get this code at minimal cost? Does Chegg rent such codes with the books that are rented?
