Objectives

Research a current issue and/or trend in the Canadian and/or Global IMC industries and assess the impact on advertisers.
Submit a narrated presentation in a digital format to be shared online for grading and peer review.
Work collaboratively in a team setting.

Task

Develop a video presentation about an integrated marketing communications issue/trend. See attached list for topics. Choose ONE topic (there are multiple topics listed in each week). Your presentation should be 4 - 5 minutes long. One group per topic.
The presentation format is up to you. For example, you can record a PowerPoint video or make an animated video. Check out these links for resources:
It's not necessary that all group members present in the video but all must contribute relatively equally to the final production. For example, some may prefer to write and read the script while others may prefer to research and edit the final video.
Post the final project on YouTube and send me an email with the URL before the start of class on your scheduled day. I must receive the URL in advance of class as I often cover some of the content in that day's lecture.
When posting to YouTube, you'll be asked to choose a privacy setting; choose public or unlisted.
Ensure the names of all group members are clearly indicated in your video.
Include a minimum of 3 reputable sources with proper citation under the "SHOW MORE" tab on YouTube.
Complete an individual peer evaluation (form is posted on Brightspace) and submit by start of class on your scheduled day. Ensure you rate yourself as well as your group members.
