A certain object is composed of a solid sphere of mass 15 kg and radius 0.5 m, connected to two thin rods of length 2 m and mass 5 kg. The object is initially oriented in the vertical plane and then released. Gravity then causes it to rotate clockwise around a frictionless axis through the center of the sphere. In the diagram, you are looking to the west. The center of mass of the object is located 0.8m away from the axis.

1) What is the initial angular acceleration of the object?

2) What is the initial acceleration  of the center of mass of the object?
