The attached Sales Data file contains information on Gross Sales and Gross Profit for a sample of your company's customers.

  1. Use Excel Data Analysis to find the mean, median, and mode for both variables.  Make sure that you clearly state or point out which numbers are which. Don't expect me to pick the numbers I want.
  2. Use Data Analysis to construct a 95% confidence interval for Gross Sales. Interpret the interval. 
  3. Use Data Analysis to construct a 99% confidence interval for Gross Sales.  Interpret the interval.
  4. Compare the widths of the 95% and 99% confidence intervals.
  5. Use Data Analysis to construct a 98% confidence interval for Gross Profit. Interpret the interval.
