Lab Objectives

By the end of this lesson, you should be able to:

  2. Describe the advantages of staining microorganisms.
  3. Compare and contrast the use of simple and differential stains.
  4. List the steps of the Gram and acid-fast staining techniques in order.
  5. Describe the mechanism of Gram and acid-fast staining techniques.
