Choose an infectious disease

1. Identify the chosen Disease.

2. Discuss the history of the disease including morbidity and mortality numbers.

3. Identify the global health importance of the health condition.

4. Identify which vulnerable population is affected. Include where it exists as a problem. (i.e. which country/ environment)

5. Discuss the agencies involved in helping to solve this problem and help those affected by this problem (i.e. current campaigns or initiatives).

6. Identify if there are nurses currently working with the organization and in what capacity. Identify how nurses can play a role in the reduction of the identified disease.
