Research Question: Is the cleanliness of the equipment used to take patient's vitals increasing the spread of infection caused by staphylococcus epidermidis in the NICU? Hypothesis: Cleaning all equipment used to take vitals with the purple sanitizer wipes for 20 seconds in between each patient contact will decrease the rate of infections caused by staphylococcus epidermidis in patients in the NICU by 50%. Control Group: Any equipment used to take patient's vitals in the NICU. Experimental Group: The patients in the NICU. Control Variables: All patient's, visitors, and staff should follow all hand washing protocols already set. Equipment will be cleaned in between each patient interaction. All staff will use the same sanitizer wipes and clean equipment for 20 seconds.
