Client was treated for a clostridioides difficile infection and diarrhea resolved two days ago. The sacral wound has progressed to a 1 inch by 1 inch pink and moist area of ulceration. Sacral wound cultures are positive for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Two days later, the physician orders a wound care nurse consultation for the client. The nurse reviews the wound care nurse's notes. Which is the first action the nurse should take for the client?
