Mrs. ABC was traveling and caught a nasty flu on the plane. But because she had work and school she could not take any time off to rest during her flu. 2 weeks after she contracted the flu, she no longer had the fever and sore throat, but her nose was still stuffy, and she was suffering from sinus headaches. She went to her doctor, who diagnosed her with a sinus infection and prescribed her a course of antibiotics. Mrs. ABC took the 7 days of antibiotic therapy, but she is now back at her doctor's office with a yeast infection and diarrhea. Explain, why Mrs. ABC developed the sinus infection. Then explain, why she developed a yeast infection and diarrhea after the course of antibiotics.
