Our patient is a 78-year-old male with venous insufficiency who is a retired truck driver. He has an infected wound to his left lower extremity. He has a past medical history of hypertension, obesity, congestive heart failure, osteoarthritis of both knees, and chronic recurrent venous leg ulcers. The patient is homebound and ambulates with a walker.
