For this discussion, consider some community issues such as increases in teenage pregnancy (see the Case in Point 10.1 on page 317 of your textbook) and/or increased risks for women due to a reduction to access in reproductive health care (such as is discussed in the podcast).

Imagine your community is faced with inequities in health care. Describe the inequity (or inequities) you are focused on with a clear statement of the issue. Next, provide some clear steps you will propose to help reduce these inequities. Be sure to remember that you are working as a Community Psychologist so should aim for a community-based solution. Describe how this solution would serve to reduce inequalities in access to quality health care.
